NEWS:

The FEI Childrens International Jumping qualifier classes offer a learning experience for the contestants. These classes are a starting point for the riders to learn about FEI standards, a stepping stone to Young Riders, and an introduction to international competition.This competion is open to children 12-14 years of age, and comprises two, two-round classes run under Table A. Canada is permitted to host two outdoor qualifying competitions one in the East and one in the West  The FEI has awarded the Eastern qualifier to the Cedar Run Tournament held July 10-14 2013 at the Cedar Run Horse Park in Thornbury Ontario.

Riders in the top 10 of the world standings, plus the best Child from each EI Group are invited to the finals ( Country still to be determined ). This program is a very important for athlete development in the sport of Show Jumping in Canada

On behalf of myself, Peter Lush and the Cedar Run staff, we are honoured to be selected as the Eastern qualifier for Canada, and understand the significance of hosting this event.

Cedar Run also has been selected to host the following Equine Canada and OHJA events:

• $3000 OHJA Jr. Amateur Hunter Derby
• $5000 Jump Canada Hunter Classic
• OHJA Medal Classes
• Pony Power Series

Along with these special classes Cedar Run will be hosting our own unique classes over the 3 week period,  July 3- 21, 2013 that consist of:

• Grand Prix Jumping classes
• Grooms class
• horseless jumping competion
• Hunter Classics
• Hunter Derbys
  …   and lots more
